modernbathrooms.ca is a Canadian bathroom vanity retailer based in Coquitlam, British Columbia, specializing in vanities, LED mirrors, shower fixtures, and bathroom accessories. Since 2008, we’ve sold thousands of vanities to homeowners, contractors, interior designers, and renovators across Canada.
How We Got Started
Our story started with a health scare—when our two-year-old developed pneumonia for the third time, we began to suspect that our aging, mould-prone shower was the main culprit. Frustrated by the limited and expensive options at big-box retailers, we took a leap and imported a container of bathroom products, selling what we didn’t need.
Growing Through Customer Referrals
To our surprise, the vanities were great quality and quickly caught the attention of friends and family. Their interest led to more orders, and before long, a steady stream of referrals turned our side project into a full-fledged business.

From day one, our focus has been simple: offer well-made, stylish bathroom products at fair prices. We’ve kept our costs low by avoiding expensive retail setups and working directly with manufacturers. In our early days, we operated out of a tiny, sublet storage unit and met customers by appointment—often outside of our regular jobs.
Today, we operate from a large warehouse in Coquitlam, BC, with a showroom attached for local customers to view our bathroom vanities, faucets, and accessories in person.
By working directly with manufacturers and continuously refining our products based on customer feedback, we’re able to offer features and quality often found in much more expensive showroom brands—without the inflated retail pricing.
We specialize in bathroom vanity sizes that can be difficult to find locally, including compact vanities for powder rooms, narrow-depth models for smaller bathrooms, and larger single-sink vanities that maximize counter space. Quartz countertops are offered for most of our vanities and we have a variety of options available.
Every product we carry—including bathroom sinks, faucet, shower fixtures and LED backlit mirrors —is fully approved for use in Canada and backed by a 3-year warranty, ensuring peace of mind during inspections and long after installation.
